  2. Questions on the nanny’s approach and philosophy :- All parents have their own parenting style. It’s important to ensure that your nanny’s philosophy and care style is in line with your own. This will ensure there is little to no conflict when it comes to caring for the children.
·         Why did you become a nanny?
·         What is your idea of an ideal child care position?
·         What are your beliefs about child care?
·         How do you deal with children i.e. comforting them and disciplining them?
·         Do you have a set of rules you use when caring for children?
·         What do you expect to be doing with the children during the day?
·         How will you keep the children occupied?

       3. Questions about salary and logistics :-  It’s always a good idea to get the money aspect out of the way as soon as possible. Agreeing on the terms of employment makes for a smooth working relationship.
·         How much do you expect to pay for this position?  What are the average nanny salaries in your neighborhood for similar types of jobs?
·         Do you want someone to live-in or prefer them to commute to work every day?
·         How many hours a day will you be expecting them to work?
·         Do you need your nanny to work on weekends and holidays?
·        Are your hours flexible?
