Here’s What Not To Wear While Nanny Interview
Are you looking for work as a nanny in New York? You may
have applied to a nanny agency Brooklyn families
trust in order to get a chance at those high paying nanny jobs. However, you’ve not been able to land a job even after
countless interviews.

The problem could be how you dress for the interview. First
impressions count and the decision of the family you interview with will be
influenced by the impression they get when they first meet you. Your attire has
a lot to do with this.
Here’s what not to wear when you go for your nanny
interview:
A dress fit for the red carpet :- This is not the best way to make
an impression. You’re interviewing for a nanny’s position not for the Oscars.
You should dress neatly and comfortably.
Stilettos :- While you may be confident in your
abilities to walk in extremely high heels, it won’t do you any good to attend
the interview in stilettos. A nanny spends a lot of time on her feet running up
and down after children. It will help if you look the part during the
interview. You should therefore wear comfortable shoes and save the stilettos
for that night out in town.
Low cut shirt :- You won’t gain any points by
dressing sexy during the interview. You will be spending a lot of time with
children. Parents want to ensure that you will be a good influence and a
positive role model. While you may be a good influence, you may cancel out all
your good attributes by making the simple mistake of dressing too provocatively
during the interview.
Dressing for success also applies for nannies. You should
ensure that you dress the part in order to be given a chance to play the actual
role.
